Lake Dallas took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Denton Broncos 35-14. With the Falcons ahead 28-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Dallas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cash Davis, who threw for 135 yards and one TD while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Dj Hicks also helped out with an impressive 92 receiving yards.

Despite the loss, Denton still got an impressive performance from Terrance Lopez, who rushed for 128 yards and one score on only 13 carries, and also threw for 147 yards and one TD. Rodney Rayson was another key player, gaining 98 total yards.

Lake Dallas didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-10 defeat against Brewer on the 5th. As for Denton, they have also already played their next game, a 28-0 victory against Eastern Hills on the 5th.
