Soccer Recap: Stone Ridge Christian Comes Up Short

Stone Ridge Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mariposa County Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Friday.

Stone Ridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Mariposa County, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7-1.

Stone Ridge Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mariposa County, they have already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat against Delhi on the 11th.
