Softball Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss

Cosby fell victim to Hancock County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 8-0. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Cosby's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Hancock County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Cosby has already played their next contest, a 12-0 defeat against North Greene on the 12th. Hancock County has also already played their next game (against Unaka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
