Volleyball Recap: Silver Lake Regional Lakers vs. Duxbury Dragons        
        
		
             If Silver Lake Regional was feeling good  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of Weymouth on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Silver Lake Regional Lakers took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Duxbury Dragons on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lakers of the  3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September.
 While Silver Lake Regional ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 21-25, 25-17,  25-18.
 Silver Lake Regional's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Reese Helisek, who  had ten  digs, four  kills,  and three  aces, and  Elora Coffey, who  had ten  digs and two  kills. Helisek is also on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 13 or more in the last four games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Even though they lost, Silver Lake Regional  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least ten  aces in three consecutive  contests.
 Silver Lake Regional now  has a losing record at 6-7. As for Duxbury, the  win for them keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
 Silver Lake Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  victory against Marshfield on the 10th. Duxbury has also  already played their next match,  a  3-0  win against Dartmouth on the 9th.
