On Tuesday Albemarle will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They and the Western Albemarle Warriors are set to duel. Western Albemarle took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Albemarle, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Albemarle got the win against Louisa County by a conclusive 3-0.
Meanwhile, Western Albemarle didn't have quite enough to beat Charlottesville on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Western Albemarle started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 22-25, 25-13, 25-23, 15-8.
