Delaware Valley lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Scranton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's game. The Warriors blew past the Knights 10-3 on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won six matches in a row.

Frank Pedone made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed seven innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Delaware Valley is 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 4-5 otherwise. Pedone was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Trey Newton was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Londyn Hernandez was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Delaware Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Delaware Valley pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of three runs across that stretch. As for Scranton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Coming up, Delaware Valley will host North Pocono at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Scranton, they will square off against Scranton Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
