Soccer Recap: Citrus Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Citrus was not quite South Lake's equal in the second half on Friday. They came up short against the South Lake Eagles, falling 4-1. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Citrus' loss dropped their record down to 9-7-1. As for South Lake, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-6-4.

Citrus wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Crystal River on the 14th. South Lake has also already played their next matchup, a 6-2 win against Eustis on the 14th.
