Football Recap: La Canada Spartans vs. La Salle Lancers
La Canada gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the La Salle Lancers 52-6. The Spartans pushed the score to 42-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lancers had no chance of recovering from.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for La Canada, racking up 16 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brandon Mohaghegh, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
