Volleyball Recap: Ballantyne Ridge's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

If Ballantyne Ridge was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West Mecklenburg on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves fell 3-1 to the Porter Ridge Pirates on Tuesday. The Wolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Ballantyne Ridge actually scored more points across those four sets (93-91), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 15-25, 26-24.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ballantyne Ridge fell to 3-1. As for Porter Ridge, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.

Coming up, Ballantyne Ridge will welcome South Mecklenburg at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Porter Ridge, they will face off against Charlotte Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
