Basketball Recap: Ten Straight Home Victories for Williamsville South

Williamsville South had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 60-48 victory over the Lackawanna Steelers. Given the Billies' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Steelers are ranked 371st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Williamsville South pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points over those games.
