Baseball Recap: Otay Ranch Has No Trouble Against Francis Parker

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Otay Ranch). They came out on top against the Francis Parker Lancers by a score of 7-4 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Carlos Ulloa was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cory Salazar, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Otay Ranch now has a winning record of 3-2-1.

Coming up, Otay Ranch will take on Morse in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Francis Parker, they will head out on the road to square off against West Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for West Hills and seven for Francis Parker dating back to last season.
