Baseball Recap: Maine Central Institute Huskies vs. Penquis Valley Patriots
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maine Central Institute). They put the hurt on the Penquis Valley Patriots with a sharp 15-5 win on Tuesday. The Huskies not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 13, 2024 (when they won 12-2).
Brayden Badger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.
