Baseball Recap: Madison Highland Prep Comes Up Short

Madison Highland Prep lost against Camp Verde back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Heat lost 18-4 to the Cowboys.

Nate Garcia made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Raul Sotelo Baltazar was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Madison Highland Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Camp Verde, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-13 record.

Madison Highland Prep didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 loss against Scottsdale Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Camp Verde, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-3 defeat against Phoenix Christian on the 18th.
