Baseball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hamilton's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Spring Lake Lakers on Thursday. The Hawkeyes haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. Spring Lake has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Hamilton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
