Volleyball Recap: Forestview Find Success

Forestview's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Huss Huskies with a sharp 3-0 win. The Jaguars not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10, 25-13.

Madison Potter paced Forestview's offense, picking up 12 kills. Potter got some help from Abbie Carson and her eight assists. Ella Wortman controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Forestview's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Huss, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forestview will venture away from home to challenge East Gaston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Huss, they will head out to take on Shelby at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
