Santa Ana Valley waltzed into their game  on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by  a  10-1 margin over the Loara Saxons. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by  exactly nine  runs.
 Espy Guerrero spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Ashley Castor was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one  home run and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Jazlen Gonzalez also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
Santa Ana Valley pushed their record up to 9-2 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11 runs. As for Loara, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
 Coming up, Santa Ana Valley will square off against Orange at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Loara, they will host Godinez Fundamental  at 3:15  p.m.  on Monday. The Grizzlies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.13  runs per game on average), something the Saxons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
