As for Pebble Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games.

On Pebble Hills' side, Aiden Acosta looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Acosta has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Alex Melendez and Jesus Valadez did most of the damage at the plate: Melendez got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Valadez went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Melendez has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Omar Macias, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
