Putnam Science Academy pushed their score all the way to 62 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a rough 82-62 loss at the hands of Capital Prep Harbor. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Capital Prep Harbor had a senior duo take command as Jacob Henderson almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine assists and Edward Williams scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Henderson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last ten games he's played. Jahkylen Arroyo was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Putnam Science Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Capital Prep Harbor, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 22-3.
