Basketball Game Preview: Maple Mountain Golden Eagles vs. Springville Red Devils

Maple Mountain is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Spanish Fork just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dons.

Meanwhile, Springville entered their tilt with Salem Hills on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Skyhawks 79-65.

Springville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Maple Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Maple Mountain came up short against Springville in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 90-82.
