Softball Recap: Kathleen Comes Up Short

Kathleen fell victim to West Port and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wolf Pack, falling 15-0. The Red Devils' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Kathleen's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for West Port, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

Coming up, Kathleen will take on Tenoroc at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.4 runs per game on average), something the Red Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for West Port, they will square off against Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolf Pack's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
