Norland won the last time they faced Carol City and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vikings breezed past the Chiefs to the tune of 42-13. With the Vikings ahead 21-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Despite the loss, Carol City still got an impressive performance from Santana Blount, who picked up 125 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 85 yards.

The victory got Norland back to even at 1-1. As for Carol City, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norland will take on South Dade at 7:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Carol City, they will face off against Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
