Football Recap: Chicago Academy Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Walther Christian Academy, Chicago Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Roosevelt Rough Riders get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 21-20 win the Rough Riders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Chicago Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chicago Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Rickover Naval at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt will take on rival Air Force Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
