Union Grove has gone a perfect 7-0 against Jones County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Union Grove Wolverines will challenge the Jones County Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Union Grove beat Woodland 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won eight in a row.

While Jones County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 5-2 margin over Woodland on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

The win made it two in a row for Jones County and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Union Grove, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Union Grove took their victory against Jones County when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Union Grove since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
