Intrinsic entered their tilt with Chicago Sullivan on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tigers. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23.

Intrinsic's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Chicago Sullivan, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Intrinsic is set to square off against their familiar foe Collins at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Chicago Sullivan will face off against rival Marine Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
