Softball Recap: Jacksonville Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Jacksonville's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Lufkin Panthers on Friday. The Fightin' Indians haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Jacksonville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Ramirez, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Lufkin, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Jacksonville and Lufkin will both be playing Whitehouse the next time they take the field. Jacksonville will head out to face Whitehouse at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lufkin will host them at 6:00 p.m. on March 14th.
