Baseball Recap: Jac-Cen-Del Takes a Loss

Jac-Cen-Del and Hauser squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Jac-Cen-Del had to settle for second. They came up short against the Jets, falling 6-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jac-Cen-Del saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Neil Sullivan, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Jac-Cen-Del and nudges their season record down to 12-10. As for Hauser, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Jac-Cen-Del does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hauser, they will square off against Rising Sun at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Shiners will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Jets surely won't give up without a fight.
