Baseball Recap: Fort Campbell Comes Up Short

Fort Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Caldwell County Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Fort Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Caldwell County, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Coincidentally, Fort Campbell and Caldwell County will both be playing Madisonville-North Hopkins the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Maroons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
