ELLIE SMITH was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Millers Creek Christian's points. KENNEDY MARSH was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 4 steals.

Millers Creek Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Statesville Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
