Baseball Recap: Warren County Tech Drops Season-High Score on Veritas Christian Academy

Warren County Tech extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-6 in the process. They lost 24-9 to Veritas Christian Academy. On the bright side, the nine- run effort marked the Knights' highest-scoring match to date.

As for Veritas Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Warren County Tech: they've now won five in a row.

For Veritas Christian Academy's part, the team relied heavily on Bobby Meara, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six stolen bases, five runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Dallas Tanis, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
