Football Game Preview: Hilbert Wolves vs. Oostburg Flying Dutchmen

The Hilbert Wolves will take on the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Hilbert nor Oostburg posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

On Friday, Hilbert was beaten by Manitowoc Lutheran 54-13. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost three in a row.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Oostburg and Reedsville, and Reedsville kept the tradition alive. The Flying Dutchmen fell 17-6 to the Panthers on Friday.

Hilbert's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Oostburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Hilbert didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Oostburg in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 25-21 win.
