Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison suffered their biggest loss since April 14th on Monday. They came up short against the Annandale Atoms, falling 12-2. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Atoms earlier this season, when they won 16-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Edison and nudges their season record down to 12-7. As for Annandale, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.

Coming up, Edison will be playing at home against Hayfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Annandale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
