Soccer Recap: Lone Peak Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Lone Peak and Bingham squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lone Peak had to settle for second. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Miners who were credited with the victory. The Bingham Miners got it done in the shootout by posting 12 goals to the Lone Peak Knights' 11. Lone Peak have struggled against Bingham recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Lone Peak's loss dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Bingham, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Lone Peak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bingham, they will face off against American Fork at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. American Fork's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
