Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Roosevelt and Animo Venice squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Roosevelt had to settle for second. They took a hard 67-51 fall against the Animo Venice Pirates.

Roosevelt has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Animo Venice and bumps their season record up to 15-12.

Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Animo Venice, they will face off against Los Angeles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Los Angeles will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Animo Venice surely won't give up without a fight.
