LaVergne has gone 7-1-1 against White House recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wolverines will head out on the road to square off against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Friday, LaVergne didn't have quite enough to beat Wilson Central and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, White House was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to West Creek. While losing is never fun, White House can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 247th, while West Creek are ranked 123rd).

White House's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for LaVergne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Everything went LaVergne's way against White House when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as LaVergne made off with a 9-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
