Mt. Pleasant entered their tilt with Oxford on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. The Oilers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21.

Mt. Pleasant's offense was headlined by Lucy Molyneux and Morgan Borodychuk, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Abigail Webster and her 16 assists. Borodychuk was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Mt. Pleasant's record is now 31-9-1. As for Oxford, their loss dropped their record down to 24-14-6.

Mt. Pleasant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against North Branch on the 1st. As for Oxford, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Lake Orion on the 5th.
