King Campbell Crosses Big Stat Threshold

King Campbell produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cottonwood to the win on Friday. Campbell rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (104.4) per game. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last seven games he's played.

The victory for Cottonwood keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Campbell and Cottonwood will challenge Long at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brendan Hall's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Geneva County over Houston County

Geneva County was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Brendan Hall did his best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, Hall was still balling out as he rushed for 221 yards and three touchdowns.

Geneva County dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. Hall and Geneva County will challenge Ariton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Craig Pittman and Co. Win Fifth in a Row

Providence Christian picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Craig Pittman. Pittman turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, while also rushing for 58 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

This season, Pittman has thrown 14 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 119.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 49.5 passing yards per game.

Providence Christian Gets a Boost from Sharp in 42-17 Victory

Tyler Sharp was instrumental in extending Providence Christian's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Sharp as he rushed for 23 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.

This year, Sharp has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 34.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.25 rushing yards per game.
