Softball Recap: Skyline Eagles vs. Grand County Red Devils
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Juan, Skyline was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Grand County Red Devils, sneaking past 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since April 26, 2025.
Maya Jacobsen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Grand County, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline will take on North Summit in a tournament on Saturday.
