Basketball Recap: Richland Northeast Takes a Loss

Richland Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 69-25 loss at the hands of the South Pointe Stallions. The matchup marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Treven Raymon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for South Pointe, going 5 of 8 on his way to 20 points. Ry'Darius Hill was another key player, going 5 for 7 en route to 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Richland Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for South Pointe, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
