Baseball Recap: Nazarene Christian Academy Beats Sacred Heart for Their Fourth Straight Win

Nazarene Christian Academy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Sacred Heart on Friday. The Nazarene Christian Academy Lions' pitchers stepped up to hand the Sacred Heart Tigers a 10-0 shutout. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Carson Drury was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Drury was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.

In other batting news, Nazarene Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Boston Busby, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Nazarene Christian Academy is undefeated when Busby posts two or more runs, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenner Russell, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Nazarene Christian Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
