Belton-Honea Path is 6-1 against Walhalla since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bears will venture away from home to take on the Razorbacks at 7:00 p.m. Belton-Honea Path knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Walhalla likes a good challenge.
On Friday, Belton-Honea Path was fully in charge, breezing past Pendleton 52-22. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Belton-Honea Path's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Thomas, who threw for 242 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 97 yards and one score. That's the most rushing yards Thomas has posted since back in August. Belton-Honea Path's leading receiver Tajeh Watson-Martin was Thomas' top target yet again, picking up 215 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Belton-Honea Path was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 230 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 192 rushing yards in eight consecutive contests.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Belton-Honea Path's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Watson-Martin, Kamarion Glenn, and Ty Dubose, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Walhalla won against Berea last Friday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Razorbacks blew past West-Oak 35-7.
Walhalla's win came from a few key players Belton-Honea Path will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Caleb Johnson, who threw for 151 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 33 yards and one score. A healthy portion of Johnson's aerial production (82 yards to be exact) went to Nick Butler, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Belton-Honea Path's record is now 9-0. As for Walhalla, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-7.
Everything came up roses for Belton-Honea Path against Walhalla in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 49-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
