For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Cooper and Grant County meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Jaguars fell 5-1 to the Braves. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost three in a row.

Cooper saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sadie James, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Cooper's record now sits at 1-11. As for Grant County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Cooper Jaguars take on Conner Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grant County, they will be playing at home against Williamstown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
