Baseball Recap: Atlantic Takes a Loss

If Atlantic was feeling good fresh off their 15-5 takedown of Lake Worth Christian last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Atlantic Eagles came up short against the Palm Beach Gardens Gators on Tuesday, falling 19-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-8 back in February.

Atlantic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Thompson, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Atlantic now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Palm Beach Gardens, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Atlantic will host Somerset Academy - Canyons at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Somerset Academy - Canyons will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Atlantic surely won't give up without a fight. As for Palm Beach Gardens, they are taking a road trip to take on Treasure Coast at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
