Football Recap: Carson Starts Season with Loss at Home

Carson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 15-6 to the Central Davidson Spartans on Friday.

Griffin Barber threw for 49 yards on five of 11 attempts. Zay Phillips was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards. On the ground, Rosean Perkins rushed for 61 yards.

Carson will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Mount Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Davidson, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Atkins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
