Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nekoosa). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Adams-Friendship Green Devils on Friday, sneaking past 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Papermakers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Nekoosa now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Adams-Friendship, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Looking ahead, Nekoosa is taking a road trip to take on Mauston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Golden Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Adams-Friendship has already played their next contest (against Marshall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
