Recap: Edgemont vs. Harding County
Harding County had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They crushed Edgemont 56-6. That result is just more of the same for Harding County, who also won the last time these teams played.
Harding County's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 36 points in the first half. Edgemont came up with 6 to put the score at 36-6. The other side of the ball was dominant for Harding County in the second half, holding Edgemont to a measly 0 points.
No one had a larger role in the success than junior Zack Anders, who brought his A game into the match. He caught passes for 129 yards and punched in 2 rushing TDs. This was the first game for both teams, giving Harding County a 1-0 record and starting Edgemont off at 0-1.
