Baseball Recap: Central Crossing Comets vs. Bishop Watterson Eagles
Central Crossing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Watterson Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Central Crossing of the 8-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Robert Taylor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI.
Central Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Bishop Watterson, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Crossing will challenge Reynoldsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
