Baseball Recap: Alhambra Takes a Loss

Alhambra has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.37 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the College Park Falcons, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.

Morgan Tran was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Ruadhan Melendez also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Alhambra's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for College Park, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

While Alhambra had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
