Baseball Recap: Ruskin Comes Up Short

Ruskin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Belton Pirates, falling 18-0. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Ruskin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Belton, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-21.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pirates beat Ruskin by a score of 19-0 later that day.
