Marlin had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 88-38 win over the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 30 points or more this season.

Marlin pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points over those games. As for Bruceville-Eddy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-21.
