Basketball Recap: Sicily Island Comes Up Short

Sicily Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 55-13 loss at the hands of the Dodson Panthers.

Sicily Island's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Dodson, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sicily Island will face off against Harrisonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dodson, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Dodson Panthers take on the Castor Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
